Women of Faith International

We are women determined to reach our ultimate potential and destiny in Christ so we
can use our God-given gifts for His Glory.  We are empowered by the Holy Ghost and we love to share the
good news of Jesus with others in our community.
We walk united in faith and love, and believe there will be an awakening that will take place in our valley,
as we keep our eyes upon Jesus, we look forward to His eminent return.

My name is Josephine Bartley, I am currently writing books and slowly building up an itinerant ministry while serving as a Senior Pastor with my husband Trevor Bartley at Faith Works International in Queensland, Australia.

I am passionate about seeing Women reach their fullest potential in Christ, and enjoy travelling and ministering to people cross-culturally from any denomination that professes Jesus as Lord. I love to inspire and motivate Christians while delivering a message of hope, healing, and especially love and encouragement to the body of Christ.

If you are interested in having me speak or lead worship and prayer, or participate in a women's event, then please feel free to email me. I have preached in churches, and open-air Christmas events with an evangelistic edge. May God continually bless you and give you the Grace you need to achieve all His plans and purposes for your life and the life of your ministry.

Yours in Christ, Jo Bartley

History: I have been in full-time ministry since the year 2000, and have served as a Senior Pastor, chaplain and a religious instructor, as well as leading worship and prayer meetings, pastoral care and discipleship groups. I was born in Kelmscott, WA and at 8-years of age invited the Lord Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Saviour. My parents attended St Mary’s in the Valley Anglican Church from the time I was born until I left home to pursue a ballet at the age of 14, I have been steadily and faithfully walking with the Lord ever since.

In 1978 I was offered a scholarship to study Dance in at the Victorian College of the Arts School of Dance and at 17 was accepted into the Australian Ballet Company, one of the youngest to ever be accepted, and the first student accepted into the company without having gone through the Australian Ballet School. A year later I was offered the lead female role ‘Kerrie Dean’ in the major motion movie called 'The Coolangatta Gold'. I travelled extensively throughout Australia promoting the movie on Good morning Australia and various radio and TV stations, which opened the door to further acting roles.

At the age of 31 I answered the call of God to full-time ministry, and moved back to Perth, where I met my darling husband, Trevor. I completed a Diploma of theology at Riverview Bible College and then assisted my husband in opening up a night Bible Training School. A few years later we married and answered the call of God to go to Queensland. We ran our discipleship and leadership College at a couple of churches. In 2010 while working a Rhema Australia, I completing a Diploma in Ministry and Biblical studies at Rhema Bible Training School, and organised and led a community outreach by feeding and ministering to 2000 people.

In 2010, my husband Ps Trevor Bartley and I pioneered ‘Faith works International’, our first church plant in the Lockyer Valley. The same year the doors were open for me to preach at churches, community and open-air events in the valley. My aim was to always bring an uplifting and encouraging message of hope to a lost and hurting world. After one year of regular preaching, and serving as a chaplain in Rosewood and Marburg schools, God began to open doors for me to preach in churches throughout the Lockyer Valley, with the purpose of bringing unity, and building up and encouraging the body of Christ in general.

Bless you,

Ps Jo Bartley

In 2012, I was asked to be the main speaker for the Marburg Carols by Candlelight in which 300 people attended and we had a successful altar call, over 20 came to the Lord. Over the year I have led over 200 people to the Lord, my prayer is that God will increase my gifting to leading people to Christ and expand my territory.

At the end of 2013, I believed God wanted me to start a ministry 'Women of Faith International'. Our first women's conference ‘What about Women?’ was held in Plainland, on November 9 and was so successful that the women asked if this could be a regular occurrence each year. Our International hope is to bring the knowledge and experience we have attained as a ‘Women of Faith’ team and take it to our church plants that are currently in India and Africa.

I have been serving in ministry for 19 years, some of my roles have included being PA to the Senior pastor, Co-coordinator, choreographer for Dynamic Dance Ministries, as well as writing the Diploma of Dance Ministry Unity College, which was utilised by Christian Dance Fellowship of Australia, Bible College administrator and lecturer, Care & Connect Pastor for New people, Kidzchurch pastor, worship leader, Director for two ministry boards, and Senior co-pastor with Trevor Bartley at 'Faith works International' in Plainland, Queensland.
